The Great Eastern Hotel

Went in on Friday night 12th Jan 2018 for a birthday dinner with 5 other people - 7pm booking.
There were lots of people at tables inside and quite a few outside as well.
We sat for half an hour before anyone came to even take a drinks order, by which time, we gave our meal orders as well. We asked for bread rolls for the table at this time.
Another 30 minutes transpired before our drinks arrived and another half an hour before meals arrived. The bread rolls never arrived.

This is our local pub and it is awesome for lunch or dinner, we have been here many times and always great food.

I had a wonderful experience at the Great Eastern for my birthday. I have been there a few times now and every experience has been delightful. The food is exceptional- restaurant quality and amazing steaks. I struggle to find food as good as this anywhere else in the
Adelaide Hills. Highly recommend.

- Cant cook steak at all (order medium rare get like well done)
- Disabled salad
- Over priced so not worth

Awesome Hotel, Great pub style meals and other Munchies, Then a Good little bar for a drink,

Pool table, Game room, Pinball, Darts as well too.

Awesome local hotel recommend any day!
