In NSW the Greens have one Senator, six state MPs, 44 local government councillors including several Mayors.

The Greens NSW is comprised of over 50 Greens Local Groups which have responsibility for elections held in their area, particularly elections for the House of Representatives, NSW Legislative Assembly and Local Government. The party is a constituent member of the Australian Greens, which is turn is part of the Global Greens network.

In Parliament

Senator Lee Rhiannon - Lee was elected to the Senate at the 2010 federal election. She was previously a member of the NSW Parliament from 1999 to 2010.

Jan Barham MLC - is committed to respecting Australia's First Peoples and improving the wellbeing of all vulnerable people in NSW with a priority on housing. Jan will focus on the role of the arts as a central element of a dynamic society.

Jeremy Buckingham MLC - has been an outspoken campaigner and advocate for rural and regional communities across NSW. In the areas of water, climate change, food security and mining he has taken on vested interests and championed the cause of sustainable development.

Mehreen Faruqi MLC - Mehreen is Greens NSW spokesperson for Animal Welfare, Environment, Healthy Lifestyles, Marine Environment & Fisheries, Multiculturalism, Transport, Roads & Ports, Sexuality & Gender Identity, Status of Women, Young People

John Kaye MLC - John is a professional engineer and an expert in sustainable energy and greenhouse issues with over twenty years of research and teaching experience.

David Shoebridge MLC - David is the Greens NSW spokesperson for Forestry, Industrial Relations, Planning and Heritage, Firearms, Justice and Local Government.

Jamie Parker MLA, Member for Balmain - Jamie is an experienced advocate for his local community and is focused on stronger public services, a clean economy and green jobs, investment in public transport, planning for people and cleaning up the culture of NSW
