The Grove
The Grove provides Georgian bed and breakfast accommodation in George Town on Tasmania’s northeast coast. The accommodation is located at the mouth of the picturesque Tamar River valley, home to fruit farms and wineries.Choose to stay in Grove Cottage or Nanna’s Cottage. Grove Cottage is the larger of the two and has a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has two bedrooms, appointed with a queen-size bed and two single beds. The cottage features exposed oregon beams and an oregon feature wall. Nanna’s Cottage is decorated in 1920s style and is located in the gardens of The Grove. It is a self-contained cottage with en suite bedroom, lounge and small kitchen. There is a double a single bed, accommodating three guests comfortably.Wander through the fragrant herb and native gardens which surround The Grove’s restaurant. Enjoy lunch in the warm sun or dine in the twilight. Learn about maritime history in the Pilot Station and Maritime Museum. Visit the lighthouse at Low Head.
