Hi I Love this place. Sussan and her staff are amazing stylists and know what suits their clients and also, what their clients want. I am very happy with the way my hair is styled. They all keep up with knowledge of hair care and products as well as trends in styles. Anyone would do well to go to this hair salon, any age and conservative or 'out there'. Eile
IF YOU LOVE YOUR HAIR DO NOT GO TO THE HAIR CHAIR
THE HAIR CHAIR and its OWNER are very UNPROFESSIONAL
I went to the THE HAIR CHAIR two weeks ago to get my roots done
MY HAIR HAS NOW BROKEN OFF IN BIG SECTIONS and is clearly different lengths all over.
I went to the salon today to show them my hair and to see if they could fix it, THE OWNER said to me that it has been two weeks and I should have come in earlier and there is NOTHING that she can do to fix it.
I can't belive the owner of a business would treat a customer this way.
after having blonde hair for over five years and I never expected that going THE HAIR CHAIR
would RUINED MY HAIR
A recent revamp and a rave review from my mum led me to the The Hair Chair for a pamper mum and daughter day. Although I kept to my regular layers and style cut, the cut was perfect for my features and I left the salon feeling like a million dollars with a soft new cut and blow dry. Super friendly and chatty, lovely dcor and staff.
Went here today despite the negative reviews. Glad I did! Bryan was great. I went in with dry, damaged hair that hadn't been cut in almost a year and walked out with gorgeous bouncy locks that look and feel amazing! This place is no frills but the staff are friendly, and who cares about the extras if you leave looking a million bucks? I'll definitely be back there in a few months.
I normally go to Noddys in Newtown but have gone to this little local hairdresser for a quick cut or blow dry on the weekends when I am between a normal cut and colour. This place is no frills but incredibly friendly. When I say no frills I mean this not in a bad way I mean, not offering the fancy coffee, biscuits, wine or hand massages that some salons do. Those salons also usually charge a fortune. They get pretty busy so you will need to book ahead for a Saturday. A couple of years ago one of the girls there did a head of bouncy GHD curls for me for a wedding which was a little Shirley Temple but it worked with my outfit so I was quite pleased. More recently I have just had a straight-forward blow dry for which they have charged about $40 (about the same as Noddys where you do get a glass of wine, coffee, biscuits etc) though I think this charge for a blow dry is fairly standard. The blow dry was pretty basic but that was all I needed so I wasnt fussed. Will ...read more
