The Haus Cafe Bar and Kitchen

An unusual feature at The Haus Bar & Kitchen in Hahndorf, is the welcoming hostess outside, who will accompany you if required, this is a brilliant way to introduce clients to the restaurant Cafe. We have continually found The Haus welcoming, with an excellent menu, plus morning paper, and Wifi. There are four different dining areas with a variety of seating options. A recent addition to the large alfresco area that overlooks the street, is an opening adjustable roof. We ordered a late breakfast from an excellent menu, eggs florentine with salmon, scrambled eggs, with double smoked bacon, on thick cut sour dough toast. Both meals were perfectly cooked and presented, the coffee is always of a high standard at The Haus, a pleasurable relaxing breakfast, recommended.

A fabulous lunch in Hahndorf. Alfresco dining in the sun, with good Autumn colours. The service was good, our food choices were delivered with out delay, well prepared and hot from the kitchen. For us this restaurant never fails to deliver.

When in Hahndorf, we consistently make a stop at the Haus Bar and Kitchen. The use of the word consistent is very appropriate for this restaurant cafe, consistent good coffee, consistent excellent menu choices, consistent attentive service, further more consistently busy. The outside alfresco area has sun umbrellas, along with good seating options. Inside flows through from the alfresco area, offering comfortable large seating options, a generous size service area, with a large cabinet displaying, mouth watering cakes. The ambience is very relaxing, not loud, with good background music. For us, The Haus ticks all the boxes

The Haus for me is the best breakfast in Hahndorf. Excellent menu, with good choices and well prepared dishes. The table and chairs and general layout is well organised and comfortable. We found the service friendly and very professional. Have been to the Haus several times and keep returning, must be good.

Absolutely love the feel of the place and the pizzas are really good! It was a really great place but there isn't very good service and we were made to feel as if we had burdened them. We had booked in at 12.30pm and didn't get our food until 2.20pm. It could've been much better if there were more staff, people in the kitchen and a warm friendly feel.
