The Herbert Cafe

I saw this cafe while sitting on the train in the morning and decided to make an effort to jump off and grab some breakfast. I'm not sure how new it is, but I don't remember it being here all that long. Anyway while I was waiting for my breakfast there was a steady stream of people passing through grabbing their morning coffee (which seems to be turning into a bit of a fad in Melbourne – that is setting up a coffee shop next to a railway station). I just had a pot of tea, and ordered the seasoned fruit, and I must admit that I was amazed when it actually came out. This wasn't just a bowl of fruit with a dollop of cream, this was a work of art. Mind you, I ate it rather than sit there admiring it, but it is certainly a place I'd want to visit again.
