After 25 years of ruin, the iconic Royal Insurance building of 131 St Georges Terrace became home to The Heritage on the 24th of May 2012, as part of Brookfield Place. Designed with the intent to establish a hospitality offering that is all encompassing from a classic restaurant through to late night bar and takeaway delicatessen.

Framed by the historic facade and dramatic high ceilings The Heritage features pewter bar tops hand made in Paris and Italian marble floors. The dining room offers an all day a la carte brasserie menu through to late night cocktails. The Heritage offers a European dominant wine list features, along with tap beer and daily specials. Takeaway coffee and wine are also available.

The Boardroom at The Heritage is a private dining room that can accommodate up to twenty four people. The room is available for corporate functions and meetings as well as intimate celebrations.
