The Humble Chef

Finally a restaurant that cooks everything fresh and from scratch. Waitress/owner was telling us that her husband/chef makes all his own baked goods, stocks, gravy's etc. Great to see a young couple giving it a go. Keep it up, just what Drysdale needs. We loved our meal and will be spreading the word for you!!

Had lunch here on Monday 2nd April. We have been coming here for the past year and have always had good quality,well priced food. This time however, the food was just ordinary and overpriced. I had fish and chips which was 2 thin bits of fish inside plenty of batter,a small bowl of chips and basic salad for $17. The batter on each end of each piece of fish was hollow, so the pieces of actual fish were smaller than they looked on the plate. My wife had the soup for $8 which was okay. There are better value places around if this is what they are going to serve up. After we finished our meal, we found out that the place has management.Tip for the management....get better or lose customers. You have big shoes to fill.
