The Italian Bowl
The Italian Bowl is a cheap Italian eatery on King Street where they cook the pasta right before your very eyes. The restaurant has a fast-paced and lively atmosphere with staff calling to each other across the room. Not licensed but you can BYO with no corkage.
Since its renovation my friends and I are always visiting this place on bustling King street. Great variety of pastas that you can customise your self. I love their cannelloni pasta sheets stuffed with ricotta and spinach and topped with their marinara sauce. They also do uber eats!
It was a really hot evening and didn't want to leave air conditioned comfort of home so went with ordering from Uber Eats.
We ordered a few dishes. We had two 'build your own pasta' which one was Potato Gnocchi With Napolitana Sauce & Mushrooms as well as Ravioli With Boscaiola Sauce. We also got a Combo Special which included pasta with a chicken or veal schnitzel. Had Fettuccine Carbonara With Veal Schnitzel Parmigiana. All the pastas were piping hot and tasty. The sauces were lovely and pasta were cooked well considering they had to travel as well. The schnitzel was crispy and had the right amoun of sauce on it. We also had Cheesy Garlic Bread and lovely crunch to it with gooey cheesy top.
Overall it was a very good home delivered meal.
