You're always welcome at the PowerhouseLocated on a lovely 5acres just south of town and almost opposite the new Slim Dusty Centre the Kempsey Powerhouse Motel boasts 21 very comfortable and clean rooms including spa and family types. Pets welcome by arrangement. Your hosts, Martin and Tracy are country folk who know how to deliver great hospitality and do so at every opportunity. Their chef prepares delicious meals in the newly decorated a'la carte restaurant mon to sat from 6pm. The restaurant known as the Lantern Inn is located at reception adjoining the bar and nearby the fireplace. All meals and drinks are very affordable.

We have used this Kempsey motel in the Golden Chain Group many times in the last 18 months on our travels to and from Sydney with our car carrying business - Tow n Ride Tilt Trays. We must say that this motel is one of the best, with truck parking, bar and Restaurant, lounge with fire place. Tracy and Martin are very friendly and have gone to extra lengths in their hospitality to make sure everything is OK with our stays. Rooms are very clean and well above expectations of the average motel room.
