The Little Banksia

Open for breakfast, brunch and lunch this cafe offers a small and different food menu with items to choose from such as Kale Cakes, Poke Bowl and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger as well as an all-day breakfast menu. My burger came out with an oily sheen on the bun and the fried chicken in the burger was on the over fried side and the sweet potato fries were over fried as well and the whole dish was quite messy and awkward to eat. My friend enjoyed her Kale cakes which came out with Salmon. Nice selection of cakes and hot beverages to choose from. Pleasant service but the menu items are not for everyone’s palate.

Great community cafe, very popular, directly opposite Kensington Primary School. The food is lovely and fresh, they have a nice selection of options. Good coffee. In winter they do a lovely porridge with crumble topping, nice and hearty breakfast, another favourite would be the smashed avocado on toast with feta. The staff are nice and friendly too. It can get quite busy, there is some outside seating also, and place for you to give your dog some water if taking them with you :-)

Pleasantly decorated, bright and airy coffee shop with little hidden rooms and areas for you to have a light meal or coffee. Extensive hot beverage and coffee menu to choose from with single blend coffees available which are aromatic and divine. Service is friendly and quick. Nice light meals available for lunch. Artistic and inviting cake display.
