I was very excited to visit the little shop of plenty as I had heard much about it.
I have visited this shop on more than one occasion and I have been disappointed each time :(
I am very much into eating healthy foods - grain free, refined sugar free - but I struggled to find some "normal" foods here. (Which was challenging as I had my kids with me and there was literally nothing there that was kid friendly)
Healthy doesn't have to be "dehydrated, weird ingredients & tiny portions"
We settled on the toast option, as it seemed like the most "normal" option - one with avocado and greens and the other with some "jam".. my children are ...read more
The Little Shop of Plenty has been getting its fair share of attention with Perth locals since opening in late May. Located opposite the Maylands train station on the Railway Parade side, the cafe specialises in mainly raw (with some gentle cooked foods), minimally processed, dairy, gluten and cane sugar free dishes.

The new kid on the block and the little house of plenty is different so a great addition to the tastes and cuisine of Maylands. Their development of the site is well done. Lunch on Monday was quite busy but you could certainly spend time there catching up. Plenty of space both inside and outside - perhaps some more single tables outside would be good as singles were taking up tables that groups could have used. That was my first time and also the first time for the two ladies who joined me, We all had something different so we could see what the food was like. Everything was given a double tick. I had my usual flat white but I tasted the two teas ordered by the others - one a coconut which we had never had before and the other a well being tea which tasted of mint - a tick for both of them. We all agreed that we would back with our respective daughters. Well done Kim Bourne.#reviewtowin
