The Local has a great range of traditional pub meals available, including daily chef specials and weekly specials. Come and enjoy one of the great drink specials during Happy Hour from Monday to Friday between 5pm-7pm. The Local is a fantastic venue to watch your favourite sport live, with big screen TV's and a projector screening an array of games.
The private function room upstairs has the capacity to cater to 250 cocktail style or up to 80 sit down and can offer a variety of food and beverage options. This room has its own dance floor and private bar and its versatility means that the area can be transformed to meet your needs.

Okay, I’m not really a big fan of themed pubs, whether they be English or Irish, but I did rather like this one. I guess it had a lot to do with its lack of pretentiousness, as also due to it having some nice beers available on tap as well, and decent staff. The place itself wasn’t too crowded when I was there – in fact it was rather quiet, which is something that I tend to like with some pubs, especially during the afternoon. I’d have no problems coming back.
