It's an intimate space, very quiet with subdued music and mood lighting while the waiting staff are courteous and attentive.The compact menu, with five starters and mains, changes daily to reflect what�s best seasonally, such as an entree of rock lobster with an emulsion of green peas and lemon thyme. Harmonious flavours combine in a main course of thin slices of corn-fed chicken and double-glazed ham with roasted celeriac and sage glaze. The portions are small so it's not a big country feed but everything is superbly cooked. A cheese card has a small but thoughtful selection.

This is a special occasion restaurant that you should try. You're in the Barossa looking over the vineyards with a huge wine list and great food...so the ambience is there. The service matches. It was faultless all night. It was quite busy so we had several different people looking after us but it was coordinated and unobtrusive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and invited questions if unsure. I liked the menu set up (no entree or main sizes - the portions were all the same size and you decided how hungry you were). We left ourselves in the sommellier's hands and were well rewarded with the wine selection.
