The world's only Marilyn Monroe Festival will be held in Sydney this September featuring a Look-a-like Competition and Performance night, a Marilyn-inspired Art Exhibition and Marilyn and Showgirl Burlesque Workshops.
The Festival kicks off with the opening of the Candle in the Wind Art Exhibition on Wednesday September 16 at Space@565 Gallery & Cocktail Bar.
A Performance Night Cocktail Party on Saturday September 19 at The Aurora Hotel?s Kippax Lounge will feature a glittering evening of dancers, burlesque and jazz.
A highlight of the evening will be the Look-a-like Competition where three prizes will be awarded:
Best Marilyn Monroe Pin-Up
Best Alternative Marilyn Monroe
Dance Like A Diva Prize
Special Marilyn Monroe and Showgirl Burlesque Workshops will be held earlier on the afternoon on September 19.
