Solid, well-established steak house, that handles meat well. Their ribs platter will appeal in a primal, hind-brain kind of way. I also like the earthy, organic décor; rich with wood and tribal African designs - appropriate for a South African chain who have a strong emphasis on over-delivering at every price point. They also own Hunter & Barrel which is cheaper if you find this one too expensive.

The name says it all and these guys know their stuff! Everytime i've eaten here, the meat and the wine paired by the waiters have been on point. The ambiance and views make the experience all the more unforgettable!

Tonight I enjoyed dinner here. When I arrived, early admittedly, at 5.45pm I walked in and got a table, but by the time I left there was a queue waiting. Service is quick and it's so nice to eat somewhere that actually has fabric napkins! I ordered the Bruschetta, Greek Village Salad and a Garden Salad. It all came quickly. The bruschetta was possibly the strangest version I'd ever seen - toasted bread spread with avocado, topped with tomato salsa then sprinkled with Parmesan, hmmm .... It was served with a giant, sharp and dangerous looking knife. Most of their dishes seem to be accompanied by such a huge blade, which I found a little disconcerting. The Greek Village featured green olives, cos lettuce and tomatoes galore, but the feta was scarce. It had good flavours though, so I still enjoyed it. The Garden Salad was good too, nicely presented and dressed. The location is lovely, right on Cockle Bay - it's really great to see the bay as you dine. Tables are quite close ...read more

Great good and great service - been here twice and it has never disappointed! Beautiful views of the harbour if you get a good table. A must if you love a good steak...

I have been here twice. It is very expensive. The food can be good but you need to be careful what you order. Anything cheap seems horrible. Stringy meat at a steak house?!?! It has happened to me and others I have been with here. You either need to go high end steak or for the ribs. Being cheap, I go for the ribs.

It is quite booked out. My view is that it is overrated. Still, if you like the idea of steak and ribs for dinner then here is one of the better choices.

Never really tried much wine here. Seems expensive and we always go for the cheap stuff, which means it ain't great!
