The Merchant Tea & Coffee

I'd expect a Tea House to serve tea well. This isn't the case with the Merchant Tea and Coffee Co. Tea is served in cheap, tiny, metal teapots which pour tea all over the tables. The staff, while very pleasant, are slow serving and this is a chronic problem on the weekends. Having said this, it is still one of my favourite coffee shops because it is quiet, roomy, relatively comfortable and has lots of newspapers. It's a good place for a quiet break or conversation. The decor is interesting and the food good.
