I do believe that women should not be too worried about breastfeeding when they are expecting a child. It normally does come naturally. If it doesn't seem to go the way you expect, ask for support. There are real biological reasons for breastfeeding problems and there are many interventions that might help you. My aim is to provide a high standard of breastfeeding care at home. Including; assessment, reporting, follow up visits and phone calls.
I try to plan the visits around breastfeeding times.

After the initial visit you can decide to have follow up visits or phone calls. Questions may rise immediately or things you want to try don't seem to work. You can just call me 7 days a week. This way I can monitor your progress and make the appropriate adjustments.
I don't have magical hands but I do have a lot of evidence based knowledge and experience. I believe my skills and expertise will help you to achieve your breastfeeding goals.

I'm also available to provide information to groups, for example playgroups or pregnancy classes.

I also provide care if you are not discharged yet. I'm able to visit you at the hospital.

Breastfeeding Challenges can be; Low milk supply, Sore Nipples, Inverted Nipples, Engorgement, Reflux, Breast refusal, Pain when feeding, Unsettled baby, Expressing breast milk, Weaning children.
