The Mouses House Springbrook is arguably the most unique rainforest chalet accommodation resort of its type in Australia. Located in the World Heritage listed Warrie National Park in the Gold Coast Hinterland with a four star rating. Multi award winner – The Mouses House – consists of 11 delightful Rainforest Chalets most with a loft and picturesque views and sounds of cascading mountain streams.Each individual chalet has a fully equipped kitchen, wood fireplace, reverse-cycle air conditioning, separate bedroom, television, DVD player, stereo radio, telephone, combined lounge and dining room, private balcony with barbecues. All chalets have their own private in chalet two person triangle spa baths with views into the rainforest. At night possums will visit each chalet and can be hand fed. Why not spoil yourself with an in-chalet Swedish Body massage and they are only 400 metres away from the magnificent four kilometre 'Twin Falls' Rainforest walk. Weekend tariffs apply for Friday and Saturday night and Saturday and Sunday night stays. Mid week tariffs may include a weekend. The Mouses House is an exceptional place to enjoy a quiet, tranquil holiday in beautiful suroundings. Everything you need is supplied generously and there are good extras packages to choose from. The chalets are uniquely beautiful and quaint, and you feel as though you are right in the heart of the rainforest. It is one of the more expensive options at Springbrook but it is well worth investing the extra to enjoy the benefits of such high quality accommodation.
stayed for 3 nights - beautiful rainforest setting. Arrived to find that our pre-booked chalet had been double booked (found out after we had put our luggage in the chalet) was asked to change cabins and I refused as we had booked 4 mths prior. Renovations and jackhammers were working for 2 days (in this lovely rainforest - we were tring to escape the busy noises).
If we didn't have these troubles I am sure it is a lovely getaway. Not sure if I would go back or recommend to others as our stay was not the best.
Hello J1, I'm the owner of the Mouses House. Your comments are very confusing. We haven't had a double booking in over 3 years. We don't do this, then tell you later after checking you in we have made a mistake?? Your comments that we were renovating with jackhammers is confusing as we haven't done any major renovations to any chalet recently. Are you sure you stayed with us...?
