The New Bay View Hotel Motel

I really like those pubs that have a nice scenic view, and even though this pub is in the right location, I have to say that the view wasn't all that great. In fact despite it being near the edge of the Brisbane water it didn't seem to have all that great an atmosphere. I came here for lunch before heading off on a hike, and decided to have it outside, only to discover that the outdoor dining area wasn't all that crash hot, so I decided to move back into the bistro, which I have to say was a lot better. They do have live music, but I must admit that it was country and/or western, which I don't like at the best of times, and moreso when the performer isn't all that good. I'd probably give this place a miss next time.

Great prices, and they are the only local bottle shop to carry my favourite organic wines. Convenient for boaties to buy ice and drinks as it's directly opposite the public wharf. Staff are always friendly and helpful
