In the thick of the city, this little restaurant has a great industrial interior mixed with Thai influences. It's great that it's in a pretty central location as well! Went during a weeknight so it wasn't so busy. The food was great and staff were so helpful. Soft shell crab was a highlight.

I didn't expect to find this restuarant tucked away on Oxford St, but it was worth finding. They have an extensive menu at average pricing and a great combination of traditional and unique Thai flavours.

Have walked past the restaurant on many occasion before finally dropping in for lunch a few weeks ago. It's easy to miss as the restaurant is not at street level, instead discretely located under the Connaught building. It's also not what you would necessarily expect from a Thai restaurant in the middle of the city, and oozes charm and character. Food is quick to come out and looks beautiful on the plate. A return visit recently demonstrated a consistency in the quality of the food and service.

Situated on Oxford St across from Hyde park is Ohbar Thai restaurant. The restaurant serving traditional Thai cuisine with a slight Japanese twist. With Chef Oh having prior experience at Thai Pothong and Chef Kit at Sokyo. The restaurant is decorated to give a slight street feel. With repurposed furniture and stools. The staff were extremely welcoming and provide incredibly friendly service that the Thai's are known for.
