The Optical Superstore

I have purchased one or two pairs of spectacles at The Optical Superstore every year over the past four years. With one exception (this year's rather expensive sunnies) I have always purchased sale/discount/rebated specs. I like to have a wide range of styles and colours to choose from, as I hate contacts and can't see particularly well without some aid.
I also have had two eye tests done there.
The quality even of the cheaper frames and lenses is good, considering I'd usually pay nothing or only a few $$$. Turnaround times varied, and only once was there a slight delay of a couple of days, but I was in no hurry. I had to return only once to have the fit of a frame adjusted. Customer services has always been friendly. I have no complaints whatsoever and will continue to buy my glasses there.

I recently ( 14th May) ordered and purchased a pair of frameless spectacles from the Chatswood store. Within 15 days of purchase, I had to go back 3 times to have the frame/lens attachment points tightened as the lenses wobbled when touched.. On my third return, the staff member at the store rudely said that the lenses are "suppose to be loose" and there is "no defect" in the spectacles. Customer service at this store is non-existent, workmanship is questionable. I have spent $489.00 for these specs and now I cannot wear them.
