Bar staff are rude and chat happily while a line builds up, when asked for service recieved a shrug and lack of care. Security guards are unfriendly at best, and for me and my group of friends, genuinely persecuted us for our age and looked at any excuse to kick us out, we were there for dinner not even to get drunk! One of our friends didn’t get let in for being “too drunk”, and had come straight from uni and didn’t have a drop in him. Would not recommend to friends or family, and will never step foot in this establishment again. A shame, because it used to be a nice venue, and could be again with some staff changes.
Recently went here with a big group for burgers and took the kids along for the experience.
Access is decent for families with prams as you can take the lift from the bottle shop up into the pub.
Menu caters for all ages and my kids smashed two serves of the chicken nuggets and chips.
Big bathrooms inside with plenty of room to cater for the patrons.
Burgers are decent.
Nice place to sit in the sun and have an afternoon beverage on their terrace, however if you are a non smoker the fumes can be unbearable. Ick.
Good drinks selection, pretty good food menu at reasonable prices.
There is an ATM located inside, which is very handy! Downside - no lift access, so people with prams or a disability might find getting up there difficult.
