This cafe is relaxed with great food. Situated in the lovely shopping strip in Mont Albert, near the railway station, you will get great food here. But the service is very relaxed. My companion and I ordered straightforward foccacia/pide straight off the menu - one Ham/Cheese/Tomato and the other Roast Vege/Fetta - but they took at least half an hour to come. On a Saturday lunchtime, this is too long. Lucky we had a lot to talk about, but it was really too long to wait. The people re lovely and the food is great, when it arrives. Even when I went to investigate the delay, they didn't seem to see a problem or apologise for a delay. Good coffee here. The toilets are way out the back, you will need to search to find them - they are shared facilities with other cafes here.
I have been going to Orient Expresso for years, once a week with friends. We love going there. The food is made to order, which may take a little longer, but is well worth the wait, everything is fresh! The staff are incredibly friendly, whom I have chats with everytime I go. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a happy friendly cafe experience.
