I have been going to Pancake Manor for years, but was unfortunately a bit disappointed during my most recent visit. The crepes came out cold and flavourless, and they had replaced the fourth quarter of the crepe with mash potato. However that being said, the dessert pancakes are exceptional and it's always a fun place for a late night bite!
Its definitely somewhere you have to go just for the experience, especially those late night pancake cravings after a night on the town - it will be packed at hours you never expected! Their food, sadly to say, tastes better after a few drinks, but its still a fun place to meet friends and just eat pancakes for dinner!
Pancake Manor is an incredible Brisbane institution. The food quality is hardly incredible, the place hasn't changed in at least 15 years, but it is STILL the place to go for late night, usually drunken pancakes. I don't know what compels me to keep coming back. I'm not a kid anymore, and having mud cake pancakes for dinner isn't nearly as exciting as it was when I was 12. But sometimes you just want a familiar place that never changes where you can eat strawberry covered pancakes at 1 in the morning.
