I give less than ZERO stars.
This company is a disgrace, and that’s an explanatory description. I must provide this feedback, so others do not contact this corrupt entity. Let me start by saying they are rude, disrespectful, and arrogant. Furthermore, they are a blight on the Hornsby district. Quite frankly, I am entirely confounded by the way they continue to exist. I would submit this entity may be a front for an alternative motive, as there is no regard for employee’s who reach out to them for prospects in securing employment. ...read more
Unfortunately can't offer zero star reference so am stuck giving an a one star which they do not deserve in the slightest!
I applied for a role for which I'm going to assume was non existent, I received a call telling me the role had been filled (coincident ha) and would I be interested in coming in to registers my details for a few other roles they currently had, mentioned I would need to find a babysitter for my two young children first however was told over the phone to bring my children which would wouldnt be a problem.. well let me tell you, it was a problem! They spoke to me like I wasn't petulant child myself and the way they spoke to my children wasn't disgusting! Should have followed my own instincts and not have taken them! They asked some ...read more
I have to agree with the other reviewers....Their customer service skills are terrible. I have been to the office in Hornsby in person, contacted them via telephone, email and applied for several jobs through them via Seek. When I went into the office, the gentleman I dealt with spoke to me in a very condescending manner. I am 50 years old. Not a child. He spoke to me like I was 12. He was not particularly helpful or positive towards me due to my age, even though he looked considerably older than me. Whilst off putting, I decided to persevere with them nevertheless. I telephoned them to ask particulars about a job advertised on Seek. But again they had a gruff, condescending and unhelpful manner. My email that I sent one month ago still has not been answered. I have applied for five jobs via Seek through them and heard nothing back. I don’t mind a “thanks but no thanks” reply. But to not even acknowledge an application is the height of bad manners. Now I see ...read more
I'm not normally the sort of person to do this stuff but I am today. A few weeks ago I became unemployed. I was let go by a company in some financial strife after a franchise was pulled. A whole other story. I am currently in the market for a new role and looking for a change of pace from my previous roles in Customer Service and Management. I submitted an application along with a current copy of my Resume to The Personnel Connection in Hornsby for a role they had advertised which I felt I would be suitable for and I would enjoy. After approximately 2 weeks of hearing nothing back and yet still seeing the position advertised I again applied and submitted my Resume thinking, perhaps it hadn't gone through. Most other agencies I have applied through at least acknowledge receipt of your application with an email, if not a phone call. Just a short while ago I did receive a call from The Personnel Connection, a very rude staff who was very short on the phone, ...read more
I was prompted to write this mail after seeing the terrible review which is grossly unfair.
When I was seeking a job 6 years ago I tried many job agencies and the resulting encounters left me thoroughly disheartened. They seemed to advertise non-existent jobs because after a lengthy interview process they would expect you to attend interviews for other jobs, not the one you applied for. If you politely explained the job interview offered was for a job that didnt fit your needs they then discarded you as a candidate for any other jobs, present or future.
The team at the Personnel Connection is totally different. They view the job seeker just as much of a customer as the employing company, taking into ...read more
