Recently attended a corporate function at The Pier and had a fabulous evening.
The sunset views were awesome and food selections amazing.
Various areas were set up for seafood, BBQ, Asian, carvery and dessert and easily catered to the couple of hundred people there.
Staff were very attentive and friendly and we all enjoyed dancing the night away.
Can definitely recommend as a function venue!
view was lovely!! Have been a diner at the pier many times however on the 4th of march 2014, we travelled from rosebud to have lunch and were extremely disappointed . The food quality was well below other visits. I had Vine wrapped haloumi with a chutney it was dry and only 3 tiny pieces for$15, I also ordered a side of roasted root vegetables they were terrible the oil the vegetables were cooked in tasted old, my entire meal was terrible, I enjoyed the coffee. My companions who have eaten at the pier with me several times ordered their favourite fish and chips with salad. i have eaten this dish many times and its usually lovely, thin crust on the fish lovely salad with tomatoes, cucumber, onion, salad greens lovely dressing beautiful thick crunchy chips. This time was terrible greasy thick batter on the fish the salad consisted of just leaves no dressing onion tomatoes or cucumber , the chips were half the size all for the same price as before $30. ...read more
What a fantastic venue, I attended a recent function and was wowed by the food, wine and views of the ocean (actually spotted a dolphin). The staff were absolutely amazing and we even had the head chef speak to us before each course and describe the food with such passion that made my mouth water before the plate arrived. Now I can't wait to bring my partner to check it out...
