The Piercing Urge

I normally never give reviews for others to see, but I believe this needed to be said! I'm not someone covered in piercings or tattoos, but I had a very private piercing that i needed help with putting the ball on the ring, I rang up and Leanne was able to fit me in very quickly on my lunch break, so I went in....to her horror my piercing was done all wrong (which when she explained I understood completely), even though I really didn't want to get this piercing re-done because of the pain Leanne convinced me to otherwise she suggested I take it out. I decided to come back the next day and was SO nervous, she re pierced me in under a minute with next to no pain and was so gentle. It looks a million times better! Everyone in the studio was so friendly, and Leanne is the coolest chick I've met! I'm confident to recommend her to anyone. thanks gorgeous !!

I really wanted to get some piercings done here, as I know they stock really quality jewellery, however after the "customer service" I received over the phone when I called to inquire about a couple of things, I quickly changed my mind. The person who talk my call was rude, mocking, and arrogant. I then tried to talk to them using their online "ask a piercer" function, and received short, one word answers, along the lines of "ask Pete". Well, maybe if I knew who he was, I might.

The Piercing Urge where to start?...
Firstly the premises are in pristine condition and immaculately kept at all times. The salon has a warmth mixed with an extremely clean and hygienic feeling to it.
Secondly, the staff; not only are they exceptional piercers but exceptional people too. I have always found the staff to be completely knowledgeable and utterly supportive and patient; skills i wholeheartedly admire when they must be answering the same questions over and over again.
They are always ready to give excellent advice over the phone and in person. I have popped in numerous times when the mood takes me to change my jewellery (never with an appointment) and the staff have aways assisted me with a smile, a generous spirit and a whole lot of great humour thrown in to the ...read more

The staff at the piercing urge are fantastic, they are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about what they do, not only do they have a very clean, happy atmosphere they have continued to give me support after my piercing's have been done, even on ones that I did not even get there! The tattooist, Ran, is brilliant, his work is unique and fantastic, have had two tattoo's by him now and I wouldn't go anywhere else, which is also the case for when I get more piercing's, I recommend you guys to everyone one I know, keep up the brilliant work! :)

My first body mod was over 19yrs ago. 2 nipple piecings the same night. In those 19 yrs, I have gone back countless times to have various body mods done, and have always without exception been extremely happy with their work. I have always found the Staff at TPU to be friendly, polite and above all professional. Now i live in Geelong and still would not consider going anywhere else to either purchase jewellery or have further modifications done. I did, once go elsewhere local to me to buy jewellery, yes it was much cheaper, but that's what I paid for, cheap, poorly made jewellery.
