Had a pipe checked for a leak, at first glance the guy said he was pretty sure there was no leak, he checked the area for no more than 30 minutes, then he wasted at least 10 mins in the car 'writing up the report' (on his phone more like it) which then clicked the bill over to the second 1/2 hour, doubling the price from $90 to $180. He sat at my dining table uninvited for at leat another 10 mintues talking

I just wanted to share my wonderful experience with The Plumbing and Gas Guys. Very happy with the service provided. Nigel and the boys were amazing. I had another company out to quote replacing storage HWS with Instantaneous and was told would have to be moved and new pipes run etc and would cost $$$$. Spoke with Nigel on the phone that evening and was SO helpful. Andrew and Adam came out the next morning and could install new Instantaneous HWS in the same place as the old storage and half the price of first quote. Installed new system that same day. Great work and customer service all round, highly recommend! Thank you.
I called around 1am to replace my hot water system and someone organize an installation at 7:30am. Fast, efficient and affordable plus they even give 10% discount for their returning customers and most importantly they don't charge callout fee! Number 1 and highly recommended. :)

Not only was my new hot water system not installed properly initially but they damaged my porcelain tiles during the process and are denying responsibility. This is in a rental property so I only managed to view and observe the damage 4.5 months later- which according to The Plumbing and Gas Guys is way too long ago. Thank goodness I did as water had also been dripping onto the floor in an internal cupboard for the whole time. They fixed the water dripping so get a little credit for that but their defensive behavior and insinuations that I am not honest is very poor behavior. Very dissatisfied with customer service and attitude. Would not recommend
