The Point Restaurant

The Point is fine dining with creative dishes to offer. I found that all the dishes I've ordered was presented creatively and the combination of then flavours and texture is perfect! Excellent customer service which made us feel welcomed.

Some fine dining once in a blue moon to spoil or treat yourself is a good idea at The Point Restaurant. After weeks of hard work, i decided to take my husband out and treat him a special meal or meals. The Point Restaurant was nicely presented and it felt really nice to be seated in the restaurant. Staff was very helpful and accommodating as we had no idea what to order on the menu as fine dining isn't our usual type of dining. Recommended a few dishes and what sounded nice we ordered a fair few to share. Very different and unique experience as we did not know what to expect when the meals came out. Presentation was absolutely beautiful that i felt like not wanting to eat but just take photos and stare at it. My steak was cooked perfectly. And every other meals was also delicious and different in taste but was worth a try. Highly recommend for those fine diners out there who enjoy good food.

Very nice when it is open and recently renovated 6 months ago too. However they need to decide if they are going to be a fine dining venue or a bogan wedding reception place. Glasses and paper left in toilets by bogan wedding guests. Why would you take your drink into the toilet!! The lake views are terrific and the 3 storey spital stair case to the observation platform offers a great view of the whole of Albert Park Reserve and the CBD to the north.

I've had a wonderful time at The Point, it was a rather interesting experience. The staff were polite and welcomed us warmly from the entrance. Food was amazing and the restaurant has an award for the extensive wine list which is well-deserved after I leafed through it. With all that being said, I think the restaurants deserves my recommendation.

I had dinner here last week with three friends. The food and service was amazing! The eye fillet is to die for....This is my third visit and I will be back again. Awesome place if you want to impress someone.
