Was here for a function so didn't dine in. Had the experience of their catering service and it was not too bad. Pretty standard. Enough staff serving but like any function getting around the whole room is hard before the platter is cleaned up. Great variety and options that went around. The atmosphere of The Post office hotel was quite lively and as we were at the function is seemed very busy and loud. As the night pass it seemed really busy on a Friday night. Looked like a lot of people come here for after work drinks.
Super impressed by the interior and menu. I had an amazing lamb on lentils dish, that I will never forget. One female staff member was loud and very confronting in an unnerving way. Luckily I only experienced her for a moment. Really nice coffee. Our waitress was lovely. I look forward to returning.
I have been here a few times and felt totally out of place every time. I did enjoy the old school rock and roll but let's face it you can get that in so many pubs in coburg it hardly makes it an attraction. Was rudely refused entry because we had a child present despite our request for only one game of pool while there were no punters. Very disappointing.
