My experience was with The Press Club Test Kitchen, next to the restaurant. What a fun night to be a part of. Five courses of tasty and beautifully presented food. The host of the evening was friendly and made it very enjoyable. A memorable evening, I would suggest this for something a little different.
We had big expectations with the Press Club. Decor - ambiance very nice, then comes the food. I ordered the lamb rack. One piece of lamb rack section, not a Rack $53 for this. My friend has a lamb souvlaki entree, was raw meat- $26 for a few slithers. We like fine dining - but the food / price value is just not there. You don't mind paying $53 a meal if you get exceptional food. Would not recommend friends or family. Too much hype, not enough substance for us.
