After 2 years, we recently moved out of a rental managed by The Property Exchange and can relay both good and bad experiences. Our first Management was approachable and responded in good time to any issue raised. Unfortunately they moved on (we were not notified).



Faced several issues with the new Management such as lengthy periods where there were no responses to emails, no follow-up of escalated issues or work orders (eg. we did not have a working oven for over 2 months), very argumentative and completely unprofessional on email correspondence and is always quick to pass the blame. The problems that we encountered with this particular Management far outweighed any positive experience we had.



I would hope that the Property Exchange do not let their Management carry on with such unprofessional conduct that tarnishes their business.

We apologise that the problems experienced at the end of your management overshadowed the positive experiences with us. Due to the very stressful, busy nature of the job, the Property Management industry does have a high turnover of staff. We know that it can be confusing when contacts change, however we do notify our owners and tenants via email when our property management team changes.



We can understand the frustration of waiting for responses to emails. it is often difficult to take immediate action as property managers are middle men and are not authorized to make repairs without the approval of the owner of the property. We acknowledge that having no oven for 2 months would be an inconvenience and apologize for this - we are also constantly striving to build contacts with efficient and reliable tradesman.

It is a shame that these issues were not brought to the attention of management during your tenancy. We sincerely value our relationships with all of our clients, so had we have known we could have worked together to rectify the issues in order to avoid such upset.
