Well, I must say that I do quite like this little bar across the road from the Queen Victoria Markets. There is a but of a fishing theme to the place with nets and bouys hanging from the ceiling, and it has a bit of a grungy feeling about it which is something that I quite like. There is a backpackers hostel attached to it, so you are going to have a lot of backpackers down here, but that simply adds to the character of the place. They also have live bands here at night which gives one even more of a reason to come and visit this place. They do have a decent sized outdoor area out on the street, though as can be expected that is where all of the smokers tend to congregate, but it does allow you to watch all the people coming and going from the markets. However, I still haven't worked out what the statue above the door is supposed to be.

Renowned amongst young indie types who like to get messy of a Thursday afternevening...very cheap, pool table, cool atmosphere.
