We were a group of eight adults, one child and one infant, away for the weekend in the Grampians, and we were looking forward to a nice meal on Friday evening, after we had arrived in Halls Gap. The staff were lovely, but the food was terrible!!. I ordered a spanikopita (Spelling?), which I think I need to send them the recipe for (I got burnt filo filled with a PUMPKIN mash and it was terrible). The kids meals were so salty I took the chips off them.
Terribly overpriced for what we got (we spent over $120 for something my 8 year old could easily construct better). Would not recommend it to anyone.
Restaurant is in a good location. The staff were pleasant enough. They only provided one menu between two, this was at 8.30 at night though. They ran out of a pasta dish by that time also. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you wanted a nice relaxing romantic night out as there is a family section that contains screaming children!
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
