We had a pleasent stay here last week. The new management is good and service is awesome, compared to my last stay a few yers back which was not the best. The place is warm and welcoming with lovely staff members. The rooms were clean and tidy and a resonable price, concidering they provide ariconditioned room and free wifi. Sure would recomend!!
WARNING: This motel is an absolute disgrace! They started by charging us more than advertised price, then in room the linen was disgusting as they do not use a linen company, preferring instead to save money and self launder. This is a health hazard! There was no blankets, only what seemed to be half of an old dooms cover used as top sheet, with dirty bed spread as only warmth. Pillow case smelt of cigarette smoke also.
To top it all off the owner knocked loudly on the door 15 minutes before checkout time and yelled at us "check time" I have never seen this in 30 odd years of using accommodation.
Please avoid and sleep in your car before you contemplate giving these villains a cent.
The place isn't what it was a couple of years back. I stayed there in mid 2009 and found it to be good, decent sized rooms, bathroom, TV, big fridge, tea and coffee making stuff. Back then I think there was a New Zealand staff running the place and she did an okay job.
In my more recent stay I'd have to agree with Normad on that one. Maybe the reason why management became aggressive (room change) was because they (rooms) were all they same!
