The Red Frog Cafe

'Your home away from home'

The Red Frog Cafe opened in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, in January in 2008. Formally known as the frog and turtle cafe.
From humble beginnings that filled the all-day breakfast niche, we have quickly grown into one of the Gold Coasts culinary treasures serving fresh and nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks every day from 7am-3pm.

We pride ourselves on delivering healthy and wholesome foods, prepared on the premises from fresh, whole ingredients, and served with love and a smile,we strive to make your belly sing!

As well as our regular menu, the kitchen boasts fresh baked and cooked creations, dreamed up by our chefs daily to enhance your choices. The red frog cafe salutes its locals, who have been there every day, through our evolution, supporting and encouraging to shape us into what we are today. We cater to everybody, to any allergies or likes and dislikes and appreciate that individuals have individual needs. We hope to welcome you to the Red Frog Cafe soon.

A hidden treasure crouched beside the highway, the Frog and Turtle is not your standard café, boasting colourful yet classy décor and great homemade food. Wake up in style with the lil’ frog or big turtle breakfast, the latter including chorizo and field mushrooms. Enjoy generous burgers such as the greedy frog (Moroccan spiced lamb) at lunch, while a superb lime slice is among the delicious array of desserts. The rich, smooth Vivo coffee wins a tick too. Not just the closest cafe to home but also the best in Burleigh. Whether it be for a tasty breakfast, a delicious cake or slice washed down with a good strong coffee, or a home-style feast on one of their boutique curry nights, it's the place to kick back. And the staff treat you like family!

Wonderful cafe. Totally enjoyed the brunch we had there. It is next to the highway so it is a bit exposed but to be honest hardly noticed. Service was friendly they went to every effort to give us the best breakfast we've had in a long while. Good sized meals for a good price. Will definitly go again.
