not alot of non meat items on menu and some south american influences to food. i had the smashed avacado with p/egg, with lemon labna, greens and grain bread $19 very expensive for something not that imaginative that has been on cafe menus for several years now and bread would have been better with some better quality berad such as sourdough. great coffees as always.
we returned here one saturday for lunch and had the $17 for cinamin lamb pie with preserved lemon relish and greens with sumac yogurt which was delicious but very small for price and the $16 zucchini burger was also delicious but on brioche bun unfortunately (overly sweet and not very healthy form of bread). coffees great still, lots of gourmet and providore style ingredients on menu. we sat inside on comfy couches. staff are friendly and attentative. meals a bit small for prices otherwise great food. would be good to see a soup of day of regular menu
my apology they do use Bonsoy, coffees are super! tried the cauliflower felafel burger which was fantastic and reasonably priced again, they are holding boutique beer night with beer food menu in summer which sounds good. it's hard to choose from a similar cafe over the road as both are excellent cafes with really friendly staff
