Although we are relatively new, having just begun trading in 2017, we take pride in saying that we serve the best Asian food in North Melbourne and it�s surroundings.
The Rice Cooker was founded by Yew Meng Lee, who has an unusual approach towards food. He combines the old Asian cuisine with a modern and special taste, creating dishes with a vibrant flair.

What a disgrace to call this an Asian Restaurant. It is FAR better than the average Asian restaurant with a range better than most and a quality that leaves you feeling like this was the first time that you enjoyed such meals. Located opposite the Royal Melbourne Hospital, this venue is a true delight.
