Rubber Duckies is a shining pinacle for what many truckstops can be.
Although it is a simple setting run by one woman, it is run so well, and so friendly that its almost like a family. The menu includes the usual truckstop foods, such as chips, burgers, hotdogs etc, but it still has the healthy foods, such as sandwhiches made to order with fresh ingredients.
All my drivers rave about it.
Her and her offsider are good funny people, and always make you want to come back, the venue has a family feel, and is a major draw from the community on friday nights, with sometimes live music performances and events such as Shave your Head for Cancer.
The venue is small, and sometimes they are overworked and you MAY have to wait a few minutes for your food, but its always less than 10 minutes.
Very good, would go again, deffinatly.

They make hamburgers using their fingers...no gloves and no tongs, they scoop the hamburger fillings onto the buns with their bare hands.
The place is filthy, grease everywhere. Needs a major over-haul.
that is a horrible thing to write about such a great, well run business. if you have a problem just like any other outlet you speak to someone about it rather than posting rude, remarks that is un reasonable. as for making hamburgers with there fingeres this is an absolute lie as i have been there on numerous occasions where the girls have made the mixture and gloves are always worn. rather than being rude and annonomous speak up and say your name and talk to the business owner
Rubber Duckies Mt Colah! Wow! this place is amazing, i went here for the first time in about July of 2009, and have been going at least 3 times a week since, its a family run business and the lady that runs it is amazing, she really makes it worth your time going there to get your food. Speaking of which, is all amazing! its all freshly cooked to order, from the MASSIVE hamburgers to the East Coast's best hotdogs by far it really is worth going to... only a 5 minute detour off the F3 Freeway at Mt Colah...
This place is very good value for money, considering the service you get, the quality of the food and the general atmosphere.
It only has about 3 tables as it is mainly a take away store but still! dont let this put you off, as its not about the seating.
Pull over any truckie you see on the F3 and ask them if they know about Rubber Duckies! You WILL be surprised! GIVE IT A GO!
