I contacted them about employing someone and I explained it was urgent, they took all the details and never got back to me. Poor form, bad service, unprofessional!
We're so sorry you had this experience. Employment Plus has a policy of responding within 24 hours to vacancies lodged, but occasionally things do go wrong. As we discussed on the phone, our staff would like to assist you in the future, promptly and without any glitches. Best wishes for your new hire.
They also like to take credit when you find yourself a job saying that they "referred" you when they actually didn't have anything to do with it. Their computers do not work properly and it's impossible to apply for many jobs through them, which makes going there pretty pointless. The staff can be really rude and care more about keeping their job rather then helping you find a job. They are always rescheduling appointments which on the 'System' makes it look like you have rescheduled, but then when you need to reschedule an appointment they make it such a big deal and also use their power to report to the department of human resources in a threatening way. They have a high turn over of staff, I had 3 new people in only ONE year of being with them which speaks for itself. I would NOT recommend the salvation army at green slopes to anyone.
