The School at AIPA
Create & InspireThe School at AIPA (formally KICK Performance Group) offers over 100 classes each week to students of all ages and abilities. Our number one goal is to foster a love of performing arts in all our students; whether it is their very first lesson as a tiny tot with mum, dad or gran or you are a pre-professional student studying fulltime at AIPA. We donâ??t have favourites or stage mums here, we simply concentrate on offering great, industry relevant classes and programmes.
The School at AIPA has a different approach to most schools. We put the person before the performer and design individual programmes for each student. We advise parents of minors when it is time to take the next step for skill development and confidence. For our adult students we talk to you on a regular basis about where youâ??re at and what you want to do next.
Written reports are issued twice a year and each term an open class is held so that parents and friends can witness the progress.
We encourage students, once they are in high school and serious about their craft to study a short course with AIPA in the US in their chosen field. This is not compulsory, but gives students a solid training goal to work towards. Our students have been part of many world firsts including the first Australian performers in the Macyâ??s Thanksgiving Day Parade in NYC (2005), the first Australians in The Hollywood Christmas Parade (2013), the first school to be invited back to perform at Universal Studios four years in a row with our performances used as promotional material for the park.
Our success rate (when comparing the number of our current and ex-students actively working vs our enrolment) is higher than any other school in Sydney and we are very proud of this achievement.
With classes offered seven days a week, we look forward to speaking with you and welcoming you to the school at AIPA. ...read more

I am the parent of Hale, who attends AIPA as a student. Ever since she attended camp last year in December, she has come such a long way and the improvements I see in her everyday make me grateful to have enrolled in this school. The true friends she met along the way have welcomed her in open arms and it has changed her completely. Hale has found happiness in what she loves and I am grateful that Marg and Jen are helping her get to where she dreams to be.
During my short time at AIPA as a student, I have come so far in my craft and I've begun to unlock my full potential. Without the guidance of Marg and Jen, I wouldn't have taken the first step toward doing what I love. The friends I have made along the way has truly changed my life. The energy when you step into AIPA is so pure and honestly, you just want to stay there. I am so grateful to have found the AIPA family because not only are my escape, they have made me find my passion and a valid reason to enjoy life. - Hale, student at AIPA
AIPA is an incredible place. I was a student at AIPA for many years. The teachers, the classes, and the performances are all awesome. You feel like you're part of something special and you get some much experience from some terrific and remarkable professional teachers. If you want a head start or just a start in the performing arts, AIPA is the place for you.
