I have nothing but praise for the amazing ladies at The Sewing Room. Tisha not only did an amazing job of removing a zip and adding a full corset for my dream wedding dress - which was 2 sizes too small for me by the way, she made it fit like a glove!!!! She even made a bag that matches my dress for the day! Being able to wear the dress i didnt think i would be able to is fantastic (bye back up dress!) Her communication and time frames have been wonderful and all at a very reasonable price. Tisha also fully altered the bottom of the lovely bridemaids dress we took, making a teenager very happy with her new Halo skirt (which is no easy feat!). We will be taking the flower girl dress there as well and pretty much any item i ever need altered again!!

Tisha and her beautiful Mum Louella were so helpful with altering my wedding dress! My dress now fits perfectly and the alterations are amazing! I can’t thank you both enough!!!

From when I first stepped into the shop, Tisha greeted me professionally and made me feel confident my suit was in good hands. Worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my life. Was told I could pick up my dress that needed alterations Friday morning for an event Saturday evening and when I arrived to pick it up, the dress was still in the bag I brought it in and had not been touched. I was treated in the most disrespectful and poor manner by the management, was hung up on the phone, and was never even given an apology for the inconvenience caused. I wish I read these reviews before hand- lesson learnt indeed! Will NEVER go back to these rude and unprofessional people, and will definitely be taking matters further.
