I’m not really sure if I could call this place trendy or not, namely because it really isn’t located in the hipster parts of Melbourne. I still remember ages ago when it was a Pug Mahoney’s, but as I have suggested that was ages ago so it probably isn’t at all relevant. Anyway, I’ve only been here a couple of times, once for a drink to check it out, and a second time for a meal with friends, basically to check it out. Apparently they have a rooftop deck, but both times I was there it has been closed so I can’t comment on whether it is any good or not. The menu options weren’t all that huge, and I ended up having a steak. I have to admit that it was a little disappointing namely because it was only a small steak and chips – no salad, despite it being a little pricey as well. It was a nice pub with decent enough service, but not one that I would rave about.
