My dealings with TheShowerMan have been extremely good, up until they were not. I required multiple jobs over a short time frame, including shower work, plumbing and tiling. I was passed on the name of a plumber by the Shower man who cancelled last minute, Amanda did work to organise another which was appreciated. However then the tiler (organised by TheShowerMan, whom I assumed worked directly for them and was not a third party contractor as he was wearing a ShowerMan polo shirt) also cancelled last minute. The additional cost and inconvenience caused reflects upon TheShowerMan terribly. I have now called numerous times and have not received a call back to discuss. If reliability is what you’re after, do not hire this business. The shower work is satisfactory, however there are small issues I need to discuss with them, if they ever return my calls.
Really pleased with the result of having my shower replaced with a tiled base through The Shower Man. After having my house built with a dodgy shower, including a large hole within the slab that cased my acrylic shower base to crack - and leaking behind the wall. Having it replaced by The Shower Man, who paid attention to detail, incredibly thorough, cleaned up after themself - they did a fantastic job and I am really pleased. It is a time consuming process - so allow a week for the job to be done.
I initially got quotes from four different shower repair businesses: the first one quoted me a ludicrous price; the second one didn't get back to me; the third one eventually got back to me, but was completely unprofessional and quoted a high price for a poor patch-up job; and the fourth was The Shower Man. The sales person from The Shower Man came out the following day, emailed me a very reasonable professional quote a couple of hours later, started the job later that week, and the result is fantastic. Errol who did the work was really excellent - he cleaned up properly every day when he finished up, and was always helpful and very polite. I would highly recommend The Shower Man.
