I had a terrible experience with Smooth Movers. The guys rocked up and they were lovely. They came in a 3m2 truck to move a 3 bedroom house and couldnt fit it all in. I was charged extra as they didnt have a bigger truck in their fleet. They then started to deliver my furniture to my new address instead of putting it in storage as previously arranged and left some items there. I was then charged for this time. I was made to pay a months storage when i only needed three and was told this would be refunded to me. It was not. I had a fridge broken and cabinet broken and when I spoke to them about all of this I was offered $10 an hour off for my delivery. I did not recieve this. I was charged extra to my card and was never sent an invoice. I have spoken to the managers several times and this has not got me anywhere. These guys are true masters of their profession. The Smooth Movers recently moved me from my two storey house. As a carpenter, I have a lot of good quality, hand-made and heavy furniture - but the boys handled with exceptional care - the process couldn't have been smoother! Love their uniforms and genuine attitude too - great work guys. Would happily recommend to anyone looking to move anything - domestically or in the business world.
The Smooth Movers are well named! They made our office relocation a smooth and stress free exercise. From Guy's quote (extremely reasonable, compared to other companies) through to Max & Nick's efficient and friendly relocation on moving day, we absolutely couldn't ask for better service. Nothing we asked was too much for these hard working and friendly people - even when we changed our minds a few times! :) We can't recommend them highly enough. If you're moving home or office, book them.
