On the 4th of January 2023 I contacted SoundLab about partaking in drum lessons. I asked if I could get an invoice as I had been given a grant from the government and they would approve and pay for a semester of lessons.

Radest music school in Melbourne! A real experience to attend a music lesson here!

i saw "honestfeedback" comments a week or so ago after asking friends who'd they recommend and googling some reviews. i'm happy my hesitation (due to this persons comment) did not stop me from contacting them and making my own judgement. so, i had to come back and write my own review and i'm glad to see another good review has popped up since. i have had a few friends in the past mention this place. one of them still currently goes there. so i called them, had a great chat and booked in. i went in for a free session, which i haven't seen anyone offer before, and now i have signed up! i found the customer service perfect. the girl i dealt with was so helpful and honest. and went so far as to ask me what kind of music i listen to to ensure they had found the right teacher for me. My experience with the Soundlab has been incredible. I've developed so much as a player and all the staff have made my learning journey a great experience in a friendly warm environment. The teachers are world class!

Teacher was good, but the management completely lacked any flexibility and customer focus.
