The Source Bulk Foods

Good for foodies and health nuts
I bought wheat flour, crazy hey? I thought all flour was made from wheat but apparently this is better !
I will let you know the taste difference in a future post but I had fun shopping here.

The Source Bulk Foods at East Village is a pretty exciting store. They are selling all kinds of foods by weight, and you've got to scoop them yourselves from the rows of products available.

The range available to buy goes from seeds, rice, nuts, up to cereals and chocolate coated fruits and/or nuts.

The purchasing experience is also quite exciting. You would pick up the brown bag, write the name of the item on the bag, scoop your desired items into the bag, and pay at the counter.

The price points are quite reasonable. The store is not that large but is pretty spacious. It has a slightly relaxed ambiance with medium level lighting. Although the products are inside lid boxes, the place also temperature controlled with automatic glass sliding door to further maintain the quality of the products. The whole store feels very clean.

The staffs are quite friendly and courteous.
