The Sovereign Arms

Okay, I probably shouldn’t be too harsh on this one, but I am tempted to because, well, I really don’t like shopping centre pubs. They tend to be tacky, boring, and not really a place that I would want to spend all that much time, unless I really don’t have much of a choice that is. This is basically what this pub is – a shopping centre pub. The other thing is that they tend to have a very limited range of beers, and the beers are ones that I really don’t like. However, being across from the cinema does give it some credit in that it is a place to have a beer before, or after, a movie.

The food is brilliant and well priced. Good selection of beers. Spot on!!

They have a few more beers on tap than they did 3 years ago which is always, got my fave James Squire now too :)
Still great to watch the footy and have a few beers after work, still my go to place in joondalup!

Such an amazing place to come have a meal with friends! We got a tasting platter to share between 4 of us and holy moly couldnt even eat it all! Steak cooked to perfection and the chocolate brownie for dessert was DELICIOUS!!! Such friendly staff and amazing service - definiatley would recommend checking this place out :)

I went to The Sov with a few friends yesterday and it was such an enjoyable time. Because of the location we could go for a shop and then head there for lunch. Once we got there we had some lunch and the food and service was just amazing. Defiantly be back!
