The Speech Spot

The Speech Spot provides speech & language therapy for children and adults of all ages.

Comprehensive assessment and individualised therapy programs are designed to assist with speech, language and literacy skills.

The Speech Spot can provide assessment of your child's speech, language and/or literacy skills and develop therapy programs to assist with:
* Understanding language and following directions (receptive language)
* Expressing thoughts and ideas (expressive language)
* Speech sounds (articulation & phonology)
* Reading and writing (literacy)
* Vocabulary

Adults may have communication or swallowing difficulties as a result of age related changes, stroke or other neurological conditions. Therapy options are designed to assist with:
* Improving communication through the use of:
o speech
o language
o gesture
o and/or alternative and augmentative communication devices (AAC), such as an iPad
* Reading and writing difficulties as a result of stroke, neurological changes or brain injury
* Voice therapy and Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD)
* Management of swallowing difficulties
* Individual or group sessions available

We provided services in a range of locations on the North Shore and Northern Beaches including home visits, school visits, nursing homes and community visits. We also have a clinic in Longueville.
